A mother–daughter Mexican bakery celebrating family, culture, and community.

Baked with tradition. Shared with love.

From our family to yours

Amidulce was created to honour Mexican traditions while allowing them to grow naturally into today’s world.

We believe tradition isn’t something frozen in time, but it’s something you carry with you, adapt, and share. Every recipe respects where it comes from, while embracing where it’s going.

Our Story

Since I was little, I loved watching my mom in the kitchen. She’d whip up a full meal or dessert like it was nothing — cumbias playing in the background, tasting as she went, and completely in her element. My sister and I were always nearby, excited to see what she’d make (and even more excited to eat it).

I was especially drawn to the sweets. Chocolate, cakes, anything indulgent— that was my world. So naturally, I gravitated toward baking. That curiosity turned into experimenting. Experimenting turned into passion. And that passion slowly grew into Amidulce.

I launched Amidulce first in 2019. And later, my mom joined me in 2023. As we baked side by side, we realized we wanted to take the bakery in a new direction — one that felt more like us. One that honored our Mexican heritage.

My mom, Myriam, grew up in Colima, Mexico, surrounded by fresh coconut and tuba from her local vendor. When she moved to the U.S. in the early ’90s, she carried those flavors— and those memories of home— with her.

Those memories naturally began to influence our menu.

We balance each other beautifully. She’s fearless with flavor, always experimenting and refining. I bring the aesthetic, the vision, and the ideas to life.

Together, our goal is simple: to create baked goods that blend tradition with creativity — honoring where we come from while reimagining what’s possible.

Our everyday mission

Amidulce brings Mexican flavors to life with creativity and a touch of home.
Everything we offer, like our talavera-inspired conchas, sweet empanadas, and cakes, are all made to inspire joy and pride in our culture.

We are here for the flavors, the culture, and the connection.

Sure, we make desserts, but we’re also mixing in tradition and creativity!

We celebrate Mexican culture and heritage with desserts that bring people together.

It’s about keeping our traditions alive but making them exciting and new, just like how abuelita taught us, but with a twist.

What We Care About

At Amidulce, what matters most is people.
We believe in community, in shared growth, and in creating space for others to thrive. This belief led us to create the Sweet Success Program,
a way to give back to the community that continues to inspire us.

Through Sweet Success, we support and uplift individuals by sharing opportunities, resources, and visibility, always with care and respect. It’s a reminder that success isn’t meant to be kept, but to be shared.

This is how Amidulce continues to grow, with heart, tradition, and community at the centre.
